Amelia Butler, MA/MS

Amelia enjoys working with ages 8 through the elderly, supporting clients in gaining insights, strategies, and patterns that bring grounding, stability, happiness, new beginnings, and peace.

Background

My name is Amelia Butler MA/MS. Currently I am a Licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate LMHCA/LMFTA in the state of Washington and a Pre-license supervisee in the state of MN working towards both my LPCC/LMFT. I am working towards  licensure  and currently working under supervision in Washington State and Minnesota separately. I graduated with a Master of Science in Child & Adolescent Developmental Psychology in January 2024. I also graduated in May 2024 with a Master of Arts Human Services Counseling: Addictions and Recovery.

Although I don’t have a PhD in the counseling field, I do have a non- Counseling related PhD from in Business Analytics and Decision Sciences that shows I can assist in life and academic stressors. I am also currently working on an additional PsyD in Clinical Psychology and will graduate in 2027 with my PsyD.

I enjoy working with ages from 8 years old and up that include Child & Adolescent Development, Veterans, Couples, and the elderly. I will collaborate with you, as well as utilize evidence base approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, some EMDR skills , and play therapy. I aim to support you in gaining insights, strategies and patterns that bring a client grounding, stability, happiness, new beginnings, and peace.
