Cindy Lou Fischer-Hancock, MA, LMFT, LADC

Cindy has specialized training in DBT and sensorimotor psychotherapy. Her treatment focuses include addiction, dual diagnoses, ADHD, bipolar, borderline personality disorder, depression, anxiety, and trauma.

Background

At Salt and Stone Psychotherapy, LLC, Cindy’s focus in therapy is to create an environment where clients can develop coping skills and explore their own thoughts and feelings. By providing evidence-based practices including CBT and DBT, and mind-body skills work, family systems. A goal is for clients to increase their awareness of how their own history,  thought patterns and emotions have an impact on behaviors and relationships.  She has  a history of developing rapport and making effective progress with clients who have co-occurring disorders of mental health and addictions. Her approach is integrative, collaborative, client-centered and includes alternative complementary modalities.

 

Cindy has an undergraduate from Metro State University in Psychology, a Master’s in Psychology from St. Mary’s University, a Post-master’s certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Postmaster’s in Co-occurring disorders from Alfred Adler Graduate school.  She has experience and additional training in DBT and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
